Our first project is to support the need of orphan care in Lesotho, Africa. Lesotho is a country in southern Africa, which is completely land locked by South Africa. Lesotho currently has the 2nd highest HIV prevalence in the world. Due to this epidemic, one in five children are left without parents and are orphaned by the age of 4. Once they are 4, their future is limited when it comes to where they will receive their care.
House of Hope project is committed to stepping in and supporting the already existing ministry of Beautiful Dream Society. We are partnering with them to build a village of homes which will house 120+ children, giving orphans a family they can grow up in. Beautiful Dream Society has full guardianship and custody of the children on their campus. Beautiful Dream Society meets children’s physical, medical, relational, and educational needs.
These precious children are rescued from the unknown and fear that comes with being without parents. They are given the security of a safe place to sleep, receive medical care, and can develop trust with their house mother. Beautiful Dream Society also has the mission of rescuing women from human trafficking. They train these woman and give them a new purpose in life, allowing them to turn their past hurts into love for the children of Beautiful Dream Society.
